Intro to Voiceover

Starting on Tuesday, July 14, 2020

Join us for a beginner voiceover workshop presented by Lone Star VO.
Night 1 focuses on the Business of Voiceover. Do you know what it takes to make voiceover a full time job? Find out what it takes to turn your voice acting “hobby” into a real career! Learn about different genres, agents, home studios, demos, coaching, branding and common mistakes to avoid when you are getting started in voiceover.
Night 2 focuses on Voiceover Performance. Now that you know about all the different genres available in voiceover, let’s take some time to explore how to read for each of those genres. We’ll learn the difference between an announcery automotive read, a conversational TV ad, an educational eLearning read and many more! Students will get a chance to read scripts and be directed in this performance based workshop.
